Federal Employee Program (FEP)

The Blue Cross and Blue Shield Service Benefit Plan, usually called the Federal Employee Program or FEP, is the largest private health insurance contract in the nation. This program offers a variety of health plans for eligible federal employees and retirees. It continues to be the most popular choice of federal employees and retirees.

  • Are you outside South Carolina? If you have FEP coverage and have questions about your benefits, please contact your local Blue Cross and Blue Shield Plan.

Authorization Form

When you contact us about a claim or would like other health information involving your spouse or dependent (including children age 12 or older) we must have a HIPAA Authorized Representative Form on file. The person whose information you are requesting needs to sign this authorization. This authorization is valid for 24 months. You can renew it when it expires.
