With more than 64,000 participating pharmacies nationwide, BlueCross makes it easy for members to get the prescriptions they need. When members use network pharmacies, the pharmacists can check their benefits online. So members know exactly how much they have to pay for their prescriptions.

When members don’t show their ID cards or they use out-of-network pharmacies, members have to file prescription drug claims. And, depending on their benefit plans, BlueCross may not reimburse members for the full amounts they pay.

Note: Not all benefit plans are the same. Some may exclude certain national chain pharmacies. Members should always check with their pharmacies to make sure the pharmacies are in-network before they have prescriptions filled.
